This page aims to inform future pilgrims about the different categories and types of packages offered, to better understand the available options before purchasing on the official platform.
Hajj and Umrah packages differ according to included services, comfort level and rates offered. To simplify comparison and choice for pilgrims, standardized categories have been established.
Each category is designed to meet various needs and profiles:
Affordable options with essential services to accomplish the pilgrimage.
More comfort, hotels close to holy sites and personalized services.
High-end experience, 4★ or 5★ accommodation, privileged support and exclusive services.
Thanks to these categories, pilgrims can easily compare service levels and prices, and choose the package that best matches their budget and expectations. This organization aims to make the selection process clearer, faster and more transparent, for an optimized pilgrimage experience.

To better meet pilgrims' varied needs and enrich their experience, six major parameter categories have been established: tier level (Luxury, Premium, Standard), accommodation type (Shifting / Non-Shifting) and flight type (group / personalized).
Shifting packages are designed to offer pilgrims maximum comfort and convenience during Hajj period.
The Shifting package is therefore a good compromise between logistical comfort and spiritual proximity.
The Non-Shifting package refers to a formula where the pilgrim stays in the same accommodation in Mecca before and after Hajj days (Mashair: Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifa).
This type of package is particularly appreciated as it allows experiencing Hajj in a stable, practical and restful setting, without having to move between different stages.
| Package category | Mina / Arafat / Muzdalifa accommodation | Mecca accommodation | Medina accommodation | Main advantages |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shifting | Lodging close to sacred sites to facilitate rituals | Hotel near Haram before and/or after Hajj | Hotel in Medina included | Spiritual proximity, logistical comfort, optimized travel between sites |
| Non-Shifting | Same accommodation throughout Hajj | Fixed hotel in Mecca | Hotel in Medina included | Simplicity, stability, ideal for pilgrims wanting fewer changes |
The group flight allows the pilgrim to travel with their assigned guide, designated by the agency managing their Hajj package.
Advantages of group flight:
A real plus for experiencing Hajj in good conditions, in shâ Allâh.
The personalized flight allows the pilgrim to travel alone, without guide or group. It is intended for experienced people who have already performed several Umrah and know Saudi Arabia well.
Advantages of personalized flight:
Significant disadvantages:
Note: during Hajj 2025, personalized flights were no longer available for France, as the quota was exhausted from the first phase with group flights.
No, it is not possible to pay for Hajj 2026 in installments directly via Nusuk. The Nusuk Hajj platform uses an electronic wallet (e-wallet) that each pilgrim must fund in full before purchasing the package. Payment for Hajj offer is therefore made in one installment, at time of official booking.
The official Hajj 2026 quota for France is set at 6,000 pilgrims. However, France benefits each year from additional places, from quotas unused by other countries. These places are recirculated and can be purchased by French pilgrims via Nusuk platform.
Thus, the final number of French pilgrims varies each year depending on circumstances. For example, more than 10,000 French pilgrims accomplished Hajj 2025 via Nusuk.
